How could makers use less energy in their fabrication processes?

In May we were invited to participate in the event “Neomateria 2024. Cooking new materials” co-organized by Materfad and CCAM (Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya).

We organized a 2-day workshop and participated in a talk where we discussed about the future of craftsmanship and alternative energy sources.

Participants from various craft disciplines collaborated to build two solar dehydrators that can be used for both dehydrating food and biomaterials.
